The Foundation strives to fund the needs of our Kāhala Nui Residents and our adult day care center, Live Well at Iwilei. See below for some of the ways you can make a difference.
Benevolent Fund
The Benevolent Fund is crucial for helping residents facing financial challenges. Some residents may find themselves unable to afford necessary services due to unexpected events like health crises, family emergencies or outliving their savings. Your donations to the Benevolent Fund ensure that neighbors in need can remain part of our community despite financial hardship.
Life Enrichment Programs
We’re committed to supporting the well-being of the people we serve. Donations towards our Life Enrichment programs bring musical and dance performances to our Residents, especially those that are not as mobile; fitness and balance classes to maintain strength; and lectures and films to stimulate all the senses.
Hi‘olani Care Center
Our top-rated health care center provides assisted living, skilled nursing and memory support. Funding towards Hiolani Care Center covers programs such as weekly art and music therapy sessions, specialized training for Associates and equipment to aid seniors as they age.
Live Well
Named Hawai’i’s best adult day care center, Live Well at Iwilei provides adult day care programs and services that promote healthy aging with a focus on quality of life and a high level of physical, intellectual and psychosocial well-being. Your donations allow seniors to experience the fullness of life — all in a gracious spirit defined by aloha.
Capital Projects
Capital projects range from updating old equipment and furnishings to future development. Our leadership team constantly monitors current and projected needs. Capital project donations allow us to continue providing the highest possible quality of life for Kāhala Nui Residents through regular maintenance and accessibility modifications.
