The Kāhala Nui Senior Living Foundation provides support not only to our Residents and Associates but also to seniors in the greater community.
Community Partners
Since 2010, Kāhala Nui has supported six local community partners who share our mission of serving seniors in Hawaii. Our partners include Alzheimer’s Association Hawai‘i, Catholic Charities Hawaii, Kōkua Kalihi Valley, Hawaii Meals on Wheels, Palama Settlement and Project Dana. An annual collective donation is made from Kāhala Nui, our Residents and Associates to raise awareness of the prolific work and services that are provided to local seniors across the state and to connect our Residents through engagement opportunities with the community.
Your donation funds initiatives such as research on finding a cure to end Alzheimer’s; affordable housing for the elderly; comprehensive elder care socialization; socialization and nutritional needs for home-bound seniors; tailored hot meals for seniors with dietary restrictions; and complimentary transportation needs to doctor appointments or grocery shopping by volunteers.

Outreach & Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer your time to help the Foundation with outreach programs periodically throughout the year! Volunteers help with registration for the annual Alzheimer’s Walk, assemble gift bags with food and hygienic essentials for Palama Settlement, deliver Meals on Wheels to seniors in need and more.
